Divorce between Kosovo, Albania and Switzerland
In both countries, a Swiss divorce must be recognised by a court before it takes effect. In Switzerland, a Kosovan or Albanian divorce is registered via the embassy.

- Certified copy of the judgment marked as final (vendimi i shkurorëzimit me shënim rreth plotfuqishmërisë), custody decision, copies of passports, questionnaire; apostille and translation; free of charge
- Switzerland → Kosovo
- Recognition by the basic court (Gjykata Themelore); final judgment translated into Albanian or Serbian
- Switzerland → Albania
- Recognition by the competent court of appeal (Gjykata e Apelit): copy of the judgment, certificate of finality, apostille, notarised translation into Albanian
