Divorce between Russia, Ukraine and Switzerland
Russia in principle recognises a Swiss divorce without proceedings when at least one spouse was living outside Russia. Ukraine requires recognition by a court.

- Judgment marked as final or свидетельство о расторжении брака (divorce certificate) from the ZAGS, embassy form
- Ukraine → Switzerland
- Original divorce decision less than 6 months old; via the embassy
- Switzerland → Russia
- Recognised without proceedings (art. 415 of the Russian Code of Civil Procedure) if at least one spouse was living outside Russia
- Switzerland → Ukraine
- Recognition by a Ukrainian court, then registration with the DRACS; apostilled judgment, proof of finality, notarised translation into Ukrainian
